Christmas Events in Pottstown

Pottstown is such a delightful place to visit during the holiday season, and there are so many things going on, I couldn't possibly talk about all of them, so let me highlight a few of my favorites, many of them coming up this week.

First, Saturday is the biggest day of December here, only Christmas itself is more fun! Start your day at Arts in the Park in Riverfront Park from 11-2 to look for a unique gift, take in a performance, or make a craft, all while enjoying a hot chocolate and making friends. Don't miss Santa's arrival by dragonboat at noon...a uniquely Pottstown experience! 

If you still need more gifts, head over to ArtFusion for the Maker's Market to pick up one-of-a-kind art pieces for that special someone. The market will run from 10-3. ArtFusion is located at 341 Beech Street (the Beech Street Factory), Unit One. Afterwards, grab dinner at one of the many restaurants downtown, and stick around for the tree lighting in Smith Family Plaza at 7:00 pm. 

Sunday, the fun continues with the Funky Santa 5k Run and later in the day, the Historic Pottstown Hoilday Homes Tour to benefit Pottstown GoFourth. Tickets can be purchased for this self-guided tour at 2024 Historic Pottstown Tours Tickets, Sun, Dec 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM | Eventbrite and are $25 each. It's rumored this will be the last year for the tour, so don't miss it!
